Description Michał ,,KNT'' Gorycki 2006-11-25 17:15:45 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I set the mentioned theme for the whole KDE and in Kopete the Hacker (Dark2-noback and Light2-noback variants) theme I get three glitches:
1) Spontaneusly the text in the input box changes it's color to white. It is very annoying, because I can't see what I write. It can be reset from Format->Text color when text formating is on (the bug happens despise the state of this option). It happens somtimes when I delete with the backspace key the whole text from the input box, and press backspace when the box is empty.
2) The keyboard cursor is white. You can only see it blink when it overlaps a letter. The letter gets a blinking one-pixel cut. Only Kopete suffers from this no matter whitch Kopete theme I use.
3) In the Dark variants of the Hacker theme i get such looks:

My texts are on white background and in a different font (this font thing happens with ANY of the KDE themes) and messages sent to me are black on a black background.

This is due to the rich text editing code that Kopete uses.

In KDE 4.1 Beta2 (kopete 0.50.80) there is black text on black background in the chatwindow (display) but in the textedit still black on white as in the other themes.

Should be fixed in KDE 4.3.
