Site Specific options can be gathered easily by looking at the implementation in other download managers (like Free Download Manager, Flashget)

For example, FDM includes in its site manager:
- Name of Site
- Checkbox if USername/Password is required
- Maximum # of simultaneous connections
- Default group of download
- FTP Mode (passive/active)

I guess in Flashget, you can also specify, Site Specific Proxy server settings (HTTP/HTTPS/Socks etc.)

actually downloader for X supports site specific settings but I really dislike the gtk+ interface. I think it's a bit of a shame kget still doesn't support this feature.
