Do the keys (e.g. CTRL-m) work in other applications? It is important that you test this with applications that allow to assign global shortcuts, like kscd or Amarok. I have just tryied it in amarok and it works. Thanks for the quick feedback. This information is very interesting. Is there some solution? I like to use my keys. Thanks. I have another bug report (Bug 136378) that is very similar. Starting from your answer I was asking myself if your bug report is the "same". I came to the conclusion that it is the "same". Thus I'll mark you bug report as duplicate. So you might want to check bug 136378 for the possible solutions. Some people report success, some partial success, some none at all. So there doesn't seem to be a solution "for everybody" yet. |
