Description Lloyd Osten 2006-11-19 15:26:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1?
OS: Linux

I am using Kmail 1.9.4 as shipped with Mandriva 2007.
I want to use the POP filter to remove spam.

I have it set to: Match any of the following:

 <To> does not contain <lloyd.osten@accesscomm.ca>
    then
    delete mail from server

I'm assuming that if the filter works, then any message without my
exact e-mail address should be automatically deleted from the server
and not downloaded. Or is my understanding not correct? Or is it just
a Kmail bug?

Thanks!

the bug is that the pop filters don't filter out anything that doesn't
have my genuine e-mail address.

Most probably the thing mentioned in bug 79694 is the cause.
