In my opinion this is a usability problem in that the MD5 sum of the image should not be displayed at all in the burn dialog since it does not serve a practical purpose (apart from being confusing in the sense that people think they have to wait for it to finish). I am marking this as very low priority, since it will probably go away when bugs like bug 98128 and bug 116765 are implemented. Apart from that it is a valid point I mark this one as fixed although K3b does not behave as requested. K3b calculates the md5sum while burning, so the effect it the same. It seems that it does not even use the MD5 sum calculated at the first screen, even if you wait for it to be calculated. That is just silly. no, it is not. There is no time lost the way K3b does it and it is much cleaner. |
