Er, doesn't Settings->"Save View Changes per Folder" already do this? Sort of, though not very reliably. I often notice the following buggy behaviour: 1.) I start konqui in normal icon mode 2.) Change to a SVN directory, say ~/svn/ 3.) Switch to SVN mode (using kdesvn) 4.) Press "go up" in toolbar to change back to ~ 5.) Konqui doesn't switch back to icon mode but stays in SVN mode, which obviously creates an error message from kdesvn Besides, it would be nice, if these properties would be stored in a user extended attribute, if the file system supports it.
