Going to Adminstrator Mode in System Setting for Network, will not pop up the password box. ( can't access) adminstrator mode.

Same problem. Have upgraded from Ubuntu to Kubuntu. Selecting administrator mode in system settings accepts my password, flashes a screen I can't read, then returns to non-administrator mode. Serious since I cannot use Apache.

That integration of the network settings dialog was developed by kubuntu. Actually kubuntu has adopted kde4, I'm closing this.
