im using kdevelop-3.4 svn branch from 11.7.2006
it's no way to disable or change icon size of debbuger and file list(i have it on application toolbar area not on file list area) toolbars. i tried even write those options to config file but it doesn't work also. 
and one more think. when i disable statusbar, checkbox in tools menu is still checked but status bar is disabled.

I think this is basically a dupe of bug #65231.

And, afaik, my comment there (#9) still stands.. the API doesn't let us set/restore toolbar settings on toolbars created by dynamically loaded plugins.
