Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.16.13-4-default

Hi!

the option "Keep replies in this folder" implies, that the column should show sender or receiver depending on the message "type" sent or received mail.

currently it's only possible to select either sender or receiver, both not appropriate for this setting.

I vote against this. If you have a column switching between Receiver and Sender depending on whether you sent or received the mail - it would just be really confusing.

Example: A sent you (B) an email. You replied to it, then he replies again. What would you get?

Now:
+A
+-B
+--A

Then:
+A (Sender)
+-A (Receiver)
+--A (Sender)

well it is not very informative to show "ME" in this column. May be a flash in front of the name for in/out could do it.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
