The problem still exists in knetworkmanager 0.1. At the moment I'm using the
following versions (from Debian testing and unstable):
network-manager/testing uptodate 0.6.4-6
network-manager-kde/unknown uptodate 1:0.1-4

For me, once it occurs, I can't reload knetworkmanager without it crashing. The only thing that will fix it is rebooting the machine. Surely there's some process I can kill or something that will let knetworkmanager run again…? We fixed some getSecrets crashes in KNM 0.2 - has anyone seen this bug recently? I have not, though I haven't been hibernating so often anymore. Am Samstag, 14. Juni 2008 15:11:46 schrieb Will Stephenson:

I have not seen this bug in the last couple of month. I'm using at the moment
network-manager-kde/testing uptodate 1:0.2.2-1from Debian testing.
I'm not sure if the bug disappeared together with my switch to KNM 0.2, but I
had no hibernate related crashes with this version so far (nevertheless it
still crashes sometimes on connecting to hidden networks, but that's
different).

Sten
Closing as fixed in 0.2. Most people should be using 0.7 now anyway. |
