If I am typing for a long time without using the mouse, kopete will automatically mark me as "away"

I have the same behavior using Kopete 0.12.7 under kde 3.5.8. I'm using the ubuntu packages, and it seems that all the people who have this problem are using ubuntu too.
Probably the bug is inside the ubuntu package more than in kopete.
