kde 3.5.6: i observe, that the transfer starts and reaches around 5 to 8% but then stalls. with the kopete version included in KDE 3.5.5, the file transfers from and to official MSN clients (MSN 7.5, WLM) died 90% of the time, and the transfer was low (probably indirect).. this despite the fact the ports were all open in my router. I've come across this problem. This is what I've found: 1-Transfer from MSN to Kopete works. 2-Transfer from Kopete to Kopete doesn't work. It stalls at the beginning of the transfer. 3-Transfer from Gaim to Kopete doesn't works. It stalls at the 100% of the transfer. I've also took some wireshark traffic capture for cases 2 and 3 which I'll attach. HTH, regards, Created attachment 20300 [details]

about comment 3: for me MSN->Kopete also stalls sometimes (especially, if the files are bigger than 128kb big) Damir, about #6 I didn't experience that. See my comment #10 on http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54367 Raúl, thanx for the info about your comment. for me, the other side uses the official microsoft live messenger or windows messenger. does it work for you with microsoft messengers <-> kopete? Damir: I can't really tell you the exact version of MSN used for test 1, yet I know is some microsoft product. Closed because file transfer on the MSN plugin is working since 0.12.7. |
