Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

hello. maybe you could fix that!
when i click on the headline of the package-list (package/details/requested/MIME-Type) nothing happens.
for example in konqueror when you click on "name" it is sorting all the files for name from a to z or vice versa.
when you click on date it is also sorted.

but in adept nothing happens when i try to sort the packages for in example the package-name.

i hope i could help you with this information.

In old Adept, the sorting was hardcoded as alphabetical. In 3.x, we are using a "relevance"-based sorting and again, this cannot be changed. However, it may be that in 3.1 or 3.2, we add other sorting possibilities, although I am not quite sure about their utility. Keeping this around as a reminder.

Something I miss alot is the ability to sort based on size such that I can easily find the packages that uses the most space. Currently I use the commandline and this command to do this:

dpkg-query --show --showformat='${Package;-50}\t${Installed-Size}\n' | sort -k 2 -n

Adept has been in the unmaintained state for a few years. Use muon[1] as replacement .
