Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

I try to set the printer as the local default. I choose option. Nothing happens. Oh, the new dialog appears in the background (bug). I have to give username and password (UI bug -- I am already logged in). I input my login and password -- auth. failed (bug, those are correct values). Ok, I log in as root (failed, bug, those are correct values).

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
