Description Jeffrey 2006-10-19 20:29:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (dapper) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-27-686

Using RCD to work on a MSWindows 2000 Server box i wanted to remove the KDE window border; a pop-up tells me to use [Alt][F3] to bring the menu back if I want to make changes to this or other aspects. But the key combo is apparently taken by Windows, and although it seems to not do anything in Windows, it also doesn't do anything in KDE. Right-click on the Taskbar box of RDC gives me some options (including Advanced!) that option (Borders) isn't one of the available ones listed via this method. I had to hard-kill my connection :(

I don't understand, is this connecting from KDE to Windows or the other way around? Do other global shortcuts like Alt+Tab work when Alt+F3 doesn't?

This is running a RDC session of Windows in my Kubuntu 6.06 system (via
Remotedesktop-Client 0.23 (which is a Gnome application but the bug is about
the KWM no-border option)). [ctrl][alt][del] and [alt][tab] both work for
KDE when it has focus, and within Windows when that session has focus.
