Hello, Can you still reproduce the bug with the latest KDE 4 release? Thanks. User didn't care to answer in 4 years, resolving as invalid |
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux Well i am translating po files to arabic. As you know there are keyboard accelerators in kbabel etc... like this &Open, &Quit etc... in arabic you need sometime to put an accent on a letter like say the letter R , if you want it to be pronounced Ra Ran or Ro see below. ر رُ رّ رً now if the & sigh is added before that letter say &Ro then the result after converting to MO file is RRo in arabic : رُد now with accelerator i will see : ررُدّ notice the duplicated ر To be short , with an & sign there is duplication of accentuated arabic letters. non accentuated are correctly accelerated. that's it. Regards, Mohamed SAAD
