Version:           3.5.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs
OS:                Linux

context:
-mandriva 2007

procedure:
-open konqueror as file browser (in your home directory for example)
-click on Tools/Find file...
-search for * files
-double click on a directory 
-click on 'back' button

...and there is no file displayed

Confirmed on 3.5.9.

Cannot reproduce on KDE 4 because the file management is done by dolphin which doesn't embed kfind.

This is a minor bug, I don't think this will be fixed on 3.5.

Should we close this as WONTFIX?

Also reproducible in kde 3.5.9 but the kfind part isn't present in svn trunk r810100 in either konq4 or dolphin.

This bug is reproducible in KDE 3.5.10 too.

This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore.
If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report.
