Description mgolden 2006-10-11 07:55:14 UTC
Version: 1.4.3 (using KDE 3.5.4, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.4-0ubuntu2~dapper1 )
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-27-386

I have a fairly large collection of .snd files, that I made on a NeXT machine some years ago. A NeXT .snd file is essentially the same as a Sun .au file, but the header is slightly different, I believe. Amarok plays them fine, but it cuts off the last second or two. If they stack together (ie. a playlist of .snd files in row) it doesn't cut off the end, but I believe the beginning of the next track may be shortened.

Information about the .snd file is here:

http://sox.sourceforge.net/AudioFormats-11.html

If you need some examples I can send them along.

BTW, I LOVE AMAROK.

The same for FLAC files!

BTW, the issue doesn't take place for WAV files. Probably because of seeking in WAV-files (as length showing) doesn't work ;-)

Is it possible to change the issue subject to include FLAC files too? Probably this

bug was closed as duplication of this one.

I use Amarok from current SVN tree with xine engine.
