Sentry Crash Report:

Description Flavio 2006-10-09 02:53:21 UTC
Version: 0.1 (using KDE 3.4.3, Debian Package 4:3.4.3-1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-klg

During a sequence of printings, the printer (HP deskjet 3745) stucked, with a total white page of paper in the middle of it.
The power led started to flash, and the situation doesn't change, even re-starting the computer.
What can I do?

I doubt this is a KDE issue. First, test your printer to make sure it is not broken:
- disconnect your printer from the computer
- power it down then up again
- follow the instructions in your manual to make printer test pages (this doesn't require a computer)

If all this works, then you must make sure you have the right driver installed by your Linux distribution. For this:

- connect your printer to the computer
- make sure all configuration is correct and in place
- launch the command lpr `locate testprint.ps|grep cups`

If a test page gets correctly out of your printer, then all is correct and it then _might_ be a KDE problem. If any of the above stages doesn't work, then it is _not_ a KDE problem and then please close this bug report (or let me know in reasonable time).

Thanks
