Description Ronny Standtke 2006-09-28 21:25:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I used the "Switch User" feature to start a new session and log in as another user.
The feature is quite nice but it was a real hassle that after switching between users the screen is always locked. In addition to the hassle there is the problem that the login mask is not triggered when switching between users. If both users have a blank screen as screensaver switching users just makes the screen go off. You have to press keys on the keyboard or move the mouse to trigger the login mask. Which leads to another problem: Moving the mouse very often did not work as it seems to be some kind of "dead" when showing the login mask. (The pointer is still moving but there are no responses to mouse clicks. Moving the mouse also does not stop the screensaver and triggers the login mask...)
