Hi,

When I have folder with say 1000 - 4000 or more email in it, if I try to delete all the mails, I select all and press delete or move to trash. No matter which, kontact/kmail hangs and I leave it for a few mins and then I kill it myself cause it appears not to respond.

If this is correct(and it is actually doing something), then it is darn slow. Can't it quickly move them to wastebin or delete them? If not can't it popup with a moving/deleting progress bar?

I don't see why it should hang or take so long to delete groups of many emails.
