Description p92 2006-09-24 17:43:54 UTC
Version: 0.12.1 (using KDE 3.5.4, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.4-0ubuntu2~dapper1 )
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-27-686

Now Listening Plugin has a problem when you choose the "automatically appends to global status message" option.

It catenates all songs I listen to in the global status message instead of replacing only the song part of the status message. I can end up with a huge status string length !

I understand these 2 options concerning global status as the following :

- replace status : enforce status with song infos
- append status : append song info to existing status BUT replace song info if already previously appends - which should be easy since the song is surrounded with special music characters

I confirm this bug. It occures when changing the "starting with" text to a text with special chars in it. I inserted "[:-}" without quotation marks and the current song is appended after the last song. When changing the string back to "Now listening to:" it works fine.
