This is a wish.

Ark cannot list files of a 'tar' or 'tar.gz' file without decompress them into a temporary directory.
But if the file is '.rar', it can. 
I can see inside a tar with the simple '-t' option of command line. Why ark can't do the same?

Current Ark versions use libarchive for tar manipulation, so that should have been fixed. Closing as WORKSFORME.
