It was a problem on systemsettings used by kubuntu in kde3. actually kubuntu has adopted kde4. If you are still having problem, please inform us. After a quick look I've noticed that Kubuntu 8.10 now relies on kuser v3.9 to manage user accounts, which doesn't suffer from this particular bug. |
