Description Arnout Boelens 2006-09-14 04:04:27 UTC
Version: 0.11.3 (using KDE 3.5.4, Debian Package 4:3.5.4-3 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17

I'm using kopete on a laptop. On this same laptop I use kdenetworkmanager, to manage my network connections. When the status of kdenetworkmanager is "offline" kopete still tries going online, I first asks for my kwallet password and then states the supplied password is wrong, and asks for my msn account password. It would be nice that, if kdenetworkmanager is installed, kopete knowns about the status of the network before going online.

Probably the code used in kmail/kontact could be used, since it doesn't check for e-mail when NewtorkManager is not connected.

This works now in KDE 4 with solid.
