Description Haakon Meland Eriksen 2006-09-13 12:27:40 UTC
Version: 3.5.3 (using KDE 3.5.4 "release 62.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.11-default

Using the Exchange plugin in Kontact, downloading many events from the Exchange server works.

Uploading is single event only, and the resulting event is imported into Exchange with the wrong time.

Isn't it possible to do whatever you do for download in reverse? It would be easier and without errors. On a second usability note - if I use the Exchange plugin it is safe to assume that I want to contact an Exchange server, so upon opening Kontact it might be an idea to check availability, and sync (upload and download) calendar events in the background if it is available. If it isn't available, notify the user, ask for confirmation to try reconnection in say 10 minutes or something.

Cheers,
Haakon

Closing since the Exchange plugin was removed in KDE3 and not ported in KDE4 due to lack of developer/maintainer for this plugin.
