Description Rostislav Lisovy 2006-09-07 11:52:13 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs
OS:                Linux

I tried to connect to my FTP account with Konqueror; It work OK for all my adresses, it has problem only when (I think) there is a dot in user name;
the adress and user name is (sorry, I don't say password to you):
server: bernardynbalu.webzdarma.cz
username: bernardynbalu.webzdarma.cz

I tried to edit the *.desktop file in /home/user/.kde/share/apps/remoteview/ but it still doesn't work.

And it doesn't work when I try to open in Konqueror ftp://bernardynbalu.webzdarma.cz@bernardynbalu.webzdarma.cz:21/

(The server is really working - when I try it for example with gFTP)

You could replace perioids with %2E.
ftp://bernardynbalu%2Ewebzdarma%2Ecz@bernardynbalu.webzdarma.cz:21/
