Version:           svn 580676 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
OS:                Linux

enable player window & main (playlist window).
click on "EQ" button in the player window. note how equalizer is opened only after main window is activated (no matter how many times EQ button is clicked).

The player window has been removed as part of restructuring for Amarok 2.0, making this bug invalid.
