This file was created with a previous version of umbrello : 1.5.3

It doesn't crash for me using branches/KDE/3.5 of this morning (r579333).
Note that Umbrello was instable between r575645 and r579329.
If you have used such a version then please throw away the generated XMI files.

Huh? In the Version field, you say 1.5.5 - I was assuming
you were using a recent KDE SVN 3.5 branch checkout (?)

I use actually the version 1.5.5 (from Debian, maybe it's a CVS version but package manager say KDE 3.5.4) who cannot ope the file but the file was created with the version 1.5.3

Thanks for clarifying.
I mark this INVALID as I'm not able to reproduce the problem
using the current development wavefront.
