Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          gcc version 4.1.2 20060817 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.1-11ubuntu1) 
OS:                Linux

How to Reproduce:
1. Connect to irc.foo.bar
2. Join 5-6 channels
3. Set the tabs as tree on the left
3. Say something #foo
4. Then click on #bar
5. Type "/"

It will not appear

6. Type "/" again, it will appear.

Expected Behaviour:
You only need to hit "/" once.

NOTE: "/" is the NUMPAD / (between Num Lock and *)
