Description Frederic Heem 2006-08-22 17:16:37 UTC
Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

When no sending account is set as default, sending an email will result in having the mail in the box "to send" as will stay there forever, when right-clicking on the mail and clicking "send now" has no effect.
Anyway, when only one sending account is configured, there is no problem to know know which one is the default one because only one is configured.
For multiple sending account, kmail must set one default account automatically.

The same happened with me, so I couldn't send no message (there were error message). When I (in options) set an existing account as DEFAULT then worked. So point is that wizard don't set DEFAULT for existing account. (This happend some days ago so i hope i remembered all my protokol when setting up account).

Actually, the problem happened after a kmail upgrade, it may help.

I have a patch in the works to fix this bug, but I haven't finished it yet.

Just posting an update. I expect the fix will appear in KDE 3.5.6.
