Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I'd like to ask whether it is possible to have the same dropdown list that is displayed on creating a \ref{} or \pageref{} also when creating a \label{}.

My rationale is as follows: mostly when I write I create the place to be referenced (i.e., the label) after the place that is referencing to it. Therefore it would be nice if I could create the reference first, save the file, and then go somewhere else and have a dropdown list that speeds up creation of the label.

I hope that this was understandable. Thank you for the good work anyway!

Greetings from Frankfurt, Gunnar :)

Hello Gunnar,

you could try to add \ref to the label commands list and label to the ref commands list. I haven't tried this, but it looks promising.
You reach this menu by selecting Configure Kile->Latex->General->Configure...

Hey Thomas,

I did not see this - it looks promising to me, too. -

However, kile complains if I try to add an entry that exists already (say,
\label under references or vice versa).
