Description r2ruyu-nana 2006-08-21 15:26:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

I often have to access remote:/ - but there are some things I never use, for example "Local Network" and "Network Services".
It would be fine If I could hide them because they are annoying.

Probably they would not even appear there when some packages were not installed. But I'm using Arch Linux and there I can't remove/install several packages - I have to remove the whole kdenetwork...

Renaming these places do not work (Could not rename file ...).

The items in question are now gone, and the remaining items here are not hide-able because this would lose you the ability to connect to network resources. If you never use any of them, you can simply hide the parent Places entry itself.
