The file shows the rename request and the rename response
"STATUS_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED".
KDE 3 is no longer supported. Feel free to reopen this ticket if the issue is still present in the current stable version of KDE 4. Thanks for the report. |
Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu18.1 dapper) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-23-386 Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a samba share [public] path = /home/user/public writable = no force user = user force group = user 2. Connect to host: smb://xyz@10.0.0.3/public 3. Rename a file in this folder Observed behaviour: The file is displayed with the new name (despite missing permissions). Pressing F5 reloads the old name. Expected behaviour: The file should not be displayed as renamed since the request is denied by the remote machine
