Version:           1.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.4, Debian Package 4:3.5.4-2 (testing/unstable))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.20lincoln

Under circumstances I've been unable to isolate, KMail will redraw the message pane on an interval of approximately once every second.  If the currently-selected message is not visible within the message pane, it automatically scrolls so that it is visible--which is really annoying because it makes it really hard to select most messages!

Is this still a problem in KDE 4.3?
