Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

When I close the window, Konqueror doesn't execute 'onunload' handlers, although they don't open new windows. This also happens regardless of popup blocking policy.

I attach two testcases, they are actually similar.

Note: this bug report is related to BR 98028, I'm only posting it separately because that report is about "not done after having pressed "reload" button nor typing an other URL", whereas this one is about closing the window.

Confirmed KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10.

Event fires correctly when leaving for a different URL. Firefox fires event when leaving URL & when closing window.

Confirmed KDE 4.0.3 / Kubuntu. No unload event fired when closing a window.
(* on the upside, this may stop those multiple popups)

There hasn't been any activity on this issue for some time. Please check if this issue is still valid for Konqueror 4.8.4 or later and update the version field accordingly.
