By "auto-adding" I refer to the behaviour of adding the previously typed number when "+" is hit multiple times. To see what this is about consider the following case:
- start KCalc
- type "5"
- type "+"
- type "1"
- type "+", the display shows "6"
- type "+", the display shows "12"

While this can often be helpfull it is sometimes very annoying: I frequently use KCalc for adding lots of small numbers such that I type "10 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2" and so on. However I use KCalc together with other applications to which I switch there and back every few seconds. For example I work with a spreadsheet but also have KCalc open (on top) to quickly add some numbers. With that it often happens to me that I forgot whether I already pushed the "+" or not. If, however, I press "+" accidently an additional time the whole calculation is wrong. To prevent this I am desperately looking forward to a feature that allows me to disable this "auto-adding". Without it, the last two lines of my example above would be
- type "+", the display shows "6"
- type "+", the display shows "6"
[...]

Same thing should go for "-", "/" and "*", of course.

this bug is no longer present in KCalc 20.12.0
