Bug 132411

Version:           3.5.4-10.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)

This bug seems similar to but different from bug 123895. Bug 123895 is supposed to be resolved, but this one is still happening.

I have tried to open Akregator by itself and Kontact in general. Both will crash. The process table says that both are running, however. This bug was occuring in KDE 3.5.1. I just upgraded to 3.5.4, and it still is occuring.
