Sentry Crash Report:

Description david ross 2006-08-13 20:59:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

a couple of sites which worked fine before upgrading to 3.5.4 now produce errors

these are www.egg.co.uk clicking on 'your accounts' results in a 'cannot connect to host' error, the same error occurs with www.newcastle.co.uk when clicking on 'log in'.

checked the sites are 'live' by connecting using 3.5.1 which displays the expected login pages, settings appear to be the same for both versions.

further to the above these sites work fine with 3.5.4 on Kubuntu so it appears that this may be a SUSE specific bug.

the opensuse.org packages have been updated to include this fix.
