Daniel, Import must use definitivly an universal way : image metadata => XMP. And this is not valid only for iphoto, but for all photomanagement program. It will be a waste of time to implement an import tool for all program... Interoperability goal have been written in this paper : http://www.metadataworkinggroup.com/pdf/mwg_guidance.pdf So, as 0.10.0 support indeep XMP, this solve your problem ? Gilles Caulier There is a tool here that we can probably include in digiKam... https://www.linux-apps.com/p/1126820/ I used iPhoto2xmp which worked well although I had to upgrade my iphoto library from iphoto 08 to iphoto 11 using the "iphoto Library upgrader tool" on OSX first. https://github.com/jensb/iphoto2xmp iPhoto2xmp sound like the best way to process. I close this file. |
