Hello, Can you try upgrading to KDE 3.5.3 or 3.5.4? Kubuntu packages are available here - http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde-354.php Ok, i upgraded to kde 3.5.4. The output of konsole (1) looks now like this: frank@lingurke:~$ konsole -e ssh -X frank@dater kio (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from /var/tmp/kdecache-frank/ksycoca ScimInputContextPlugin() ~ScimInputContextPlugin() So I think the original problem is gone, but two new kind of outputs are there :) These lines came immediatly, without any action in the new konsole. I also have the ScimInputContextPlugin() ~ScimInputContextPlugin() with many apps. E.g. kdiff3 I see that as well for all KDE apps. I suspect that is a Kubuntu issue, although it may not be a bug - just a harmless status indicator. I will close this report for now, please reopen if the problem reoccurs. |
