Axel, could you please crosscheck if this bug is a duplicate of 126715, especially the second bt looks the same as in bug 126715. If so please mark the bug as duplicate. For the next time reporting a crash with bt, please paste bt into the comments because of better visibility. Best regards Michael This may or may not be a duplicate. Arguments against: For me the crash is immediate there is no slowing down and no recovery Arguments pro: From the description in bug 126715 it is not apparent whether kmail was initiating a check in an imap folder before the crash happened. The backtrace given for bug 126715 however seems to indicate that there was an imap access. So I assume this is a duplicate ;) Note, that I had these crashes not only with kde 3.5.3 but as well with all previous kmail in all kde 3.5.x releases. I don't have them in my company where imap is on a LAN. I have them at home where imap is responding slow (via ADSL). Sorry, I don't find the checkbox to mark this bug as a duplicate. I'll leave that to your wisdom. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 126715 *** Agreed, this is a regression in KDE 3.5. |
