Linux is for ATHLON 64 Take a short (1 page) .PS or .PDF file and try to print it from the command line, e.g. with the command lpr /usr/share/cups/data/testprint.ps Does this print correctly? Cristian Tibirna wrote:

Thank you for your very quick attention.I did'nt find the way to join
the /var log/cups/error_log to the description,so I pasted it. The
printer is working with XP . I pulled all the 12 switches on (mode BJ10)
and ran the test:

Thanks and best regards.
Cristian Tibirna a écrit : [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] I have installed the new distribution AUROX 12.0 that features CUPS V1.2.X (synaptic tells 1.1.2.2-1.8.0 ) Postscript L3 V 3010(81502) and MIRACLE ! What I have been waiting for twelve years happens . Printer is selected, (make some noise), starts, prints correctly and goes to rest. VOILA! Thanks to whoever did the fix. Best regards. L.J Initial reporter reports that bug doesn't exist anymore. Closing old Resolved status bug. |
