As I added very large photos (straight from a camera, without scaling) i saw that the popups in witch the photos should be are blinking instead of appearing. At first I thought that it is a bug, bus just a while ago I saw that the images are just too large. But they cannot be removed.

Sorry I I've somehow ommited the version (0.11.3) and forgot to add a porposed fix: when selecting ghe image the user should have an option to select a piece of the photo to add (exactly like selecting it in the Global Pesonality configuration). Optionaly Kopete can scale the image to some standarized size on the user's wish.

You're assigning a custom photo to a particular metacontact, is that correct? If this is what you're doing, I can't reproduce the behavior you describe.

Cannot reproduce on kopete 0.50.80.

Cannot reproduce here with kopete svn trunk r835161. There is no flickering with a huge photo set by one of the accounts of the metacontact, and if i set one huge one myself there is also no flickering here. And the foto can be deleted too.
