Could you please tell us which DigiKam version, and what kind of images (jpeg, tiff, 8-bit 16-bit) cause problems? It is SVN version after the patch of beta1 came out, but as I heard now not all changes from beta1-r1 have been commited to svn. It is ordinary jpeg file from a Canon Digital Ixus430. I have worked quite much with the recent SVN version tonight and also tried to reproduce this behavior. So far I could not reproduce it anymore and also displaying pictures got muuuuuuch quicker again and it is working much smoother. So from my experiences I would mark this bug as solved.
