i dont use any winpopup "accounts" but still i get "your samba server is not running" messages every few minutes or so.
Comment 1 Mathias Homann 2006-07-31 22:53:04 UTC
how do i disable that? if need be, with a configure --option, i dont need winpopup at all.
Comment 2 Olivier Goffart 2006-08-04 21:06:28 UTC
Have you ever used winpopup ?

Is there something that is shown in the console about winpopup or samba ?

does it still show if you remove the winpopup plugin ?
Comment 3 Mathias Homann 2006-08-04 21:30:29 UTC
never used it; no messages in .xsession-errors about it; it disappears after i configure a winpopup "account", then delete that account again.

Message "Is your samba server running?" is shown when you have winpopup account in kopete. Just delete winpopup account and restart kopete.
