*** Bug 161820 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** In KDE 4.3 I don't see such information in status bar. Just "Ready" Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. As Björn already wrote in comment #2, the status bar only displays "ready" nowadays. I'd still like to have the number of visible messages displayed, but that would also mean to bring the total number of messages back to the statusbar. Thank you for the fast feedback. |
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs The status bar in KMail normally displays (in each folder) xxx messages, yy unread When using the quick search, this should change to xxx messages (xx visible), yy unread (y visible) The "visible" numbers should contain the number of messages that match the quick filter. This would be very helpful if you want to find out how many messages match your current quick filter.
