Version:           3.5.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, Arch Linux)
Compiler:          Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-ARCH

This bug is quite similar to bug 63438 but with after splitting view instead of duplicating tabs.
After splitting view, user expects to have strictly the same thing in both panels, including history.

Confirmed this bug on KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10. Original half of the window retains the history, the new half has none.

Confirmed this bug still exists in KDE 4.0.3/Kubuntu. History is not duplicated when splitting window.

Please check if this issue is still valid for Konqueror 4.8.4 or later and update the version field accordingly.
