I'm funning a ejabberd 1.1.1 server, with external auth.
For that reason, when user log on, he doesn't have a vcard created. when he choose to edit his informations, the error "vcard could not be fetched" is returned, and he can't edit the vcard.
the user should be allowed to edit the vcard and to save it: The server will create the vcard.

Seemt it was not fixed, same error here on 0.12.3 from Debian Testing as of 2007-I

To be more detailed - the bug do occur on @jabber.org and @jabber.cc
but interesting thing - it occures on one @jabber.org account but not on the other one.

limcore@jabber.org - works ok (even I was able to upload avater)
limcore-hardware@jabber.org - doesnt work (I can not retrive data nor edit it)
