Description Bluenova 2006-07-14 18:41:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

It's great that Amarok now supports some of the Creative players, but if possible I would like to see support for the Creative Zen Xtra which is still not supported in 1.4.1

Perhaps it's possible to use code from Gnomad2 but this app is buggy at best.

Thanks for listening!

Well either the Zen Extra already works with the NJB device or this a duplicate of the MTP request. So I'll just mark it as a duplicate.

Hi Ian,

I don't believe this is a dublicate as the zen xtra isn't an MTP player.

Cheers
Matt

Have you tried the NJB device then?

I have libnjb 5 installed and gnomad and Neutrino work fine, but not Amarok.

That doesn't answer the question really. Just because you have libnjb installed doesn't mean you have the Amarok NJB media device plugin. Most distros have not yet configured it to work (its new).

Please use the forums for support questions, you'll have to build from source. But FYI, I've already talked to the Kubuntu folks about getting the NJB device supported and the ball is rolling on that.
